Who would have ever thought that the size of a 10x10 tarp tent could determine the happiness of your relationship as a couple?

Well - it's true according to 905 individuals who took a recent survey by Sofary.com.

  • Baby boomers who had an extra 100 square feet of home space reported feeling happier in their relationships (Sqft: 1,835 vs. Sqft:1,733)
  • Millennials found themselves to be the happiest with 244 square feet of extra space (Sqft:1,810 vs. Sqft:1,566)
  • Generation X reported 217 more square feet of living space made them happy campers (Sqft:1,910 vs. Sqft:1,693)

What exactly does 100, 244, and 217 square feet of extra space look like when added to a home?

  • 100 square feet = 2.5 King size beds
  • 244 square feet = Standard size master bedroom
  • 217 square feet = About 7 sheets of plywood

If you can't quite put your finger on why you may be feeling dissatisfied with your relationship, it must be the lack of space, which means time to move! (Don't take me seriously... unless you really do need more space, than call me and I'm on it!)
